Product Development Trials
The Polymers Technology Center helps industry-leading manufacturers test new products and specialty compounds, research new resin and additive combinations, and optimize production processes.
For trials, we can use laboratory-scale equipment. This provides the user the flexibility to work with small amounts of material. The process can be scaled up to larger production as the material becomes more refined.
Extruder Screw Design
Twin screw extruders are modular in design so the process can be optimized by not only varying the run conditions but also optimizing the screw design, the barrel configuration, and feed locations of the components. Our Charlotte, NC facility is staffed by engineers and technicians who work closely with your team to develop the best screw design for each product you need.
